Partner Days 2025
Innovation, Collaboration, and a Vision for the Future of Metal Cutting
Brno, Czech Republic. As the summer heat settled over Brno, more than 70 guests from across BOMAR’s international sales network gathered for the Partner Days 2025. Guests from across Europe – including Sweden, Italy, Greece, Norway and Ukraine – and even as far as Canada came together for a concentrated two-day deep dive into new products, automation solutions, and a shared vision for the future of metal cutting.
Originally, BOMAR expected around 40 participants. The fact that nearly twice as many people attended – including long-time partners, technicians, and new team members – was a clear sign of trust and engagement across the network.
“You could really feel the excitement and openness towards our new products,” said Friedrich Pichlmann, BOMAR’s Chief Marketing Officer. “This event was truly energizing. For me, it was a signal: We’re on the right path – and we’re walking it together.”
Compact, efficient, international
A major theme of the event: automation, space efficiency, and digital integration. One highlight stood out from the very beginning – the newly redesigned Compact 200. With a footprint matching exactly that of a Euro pallet, it’s engineered for maximum output in minimal space. Paired with the V-Loader, an automated feeding unit, it enables fully automated processes even in the tightest production environments – a breakthrough for small and medium-sized workshops.
Another innovation that caught visitors’ attention was BOMAR’s updated production line, now equipped with servo-driven feed and fully automated remnant handling. Designed for high-precision cutting and advanced materials like titanium, it’s an ideal solution for complex manufacturing needs.
Real-world use cases & open exchange
Beyond presentations, BOMAR shared real-life projects – from piston machining lines in Turkey to high-volume cutting of screwdriver bits, from spring steel applications to mess- free brass pipe processing. Several setups were demonstrated live in the Brno facility, offering hands-on insight into BOMAR’s capabilities.
But just as vital as the tech: the human connection. Laughter, debate, and collaboration flowed freely. For many, it was the first in-person reunion since the pandemic – and long overdue.
“We’ve trusted BOMAR since 2000 – that says it all,” reflected a Swedish partner. Another from Hungary added, “The Compact machine is a perfect fit for our market. Hopefully, we’ll be selling plenty soon.”
SawManager & smart automation – less waste, more control
With the new SawManager software, BOMAR is specifically addressing the needs of small and mid-sized operations. The tool helps reduce material waste, optimize cut planning, and offers real-time inventory tracking. For many attendees, this software was a game-changer.
Tailored automation options were also presented – from inclined and pocket loaders to sorting units – all designed to match specific material types and workflow requirements.
Continuity meets momentum
Friedrich Pichlmann summed up what many felt:
“We now have partners in the third generation. That’s rare – and it fills us with pride. But it’s also a responsibility.”
Looking forward, BOMAR revealed bold ambitions: entering new market segments, integrating AI and machine learning into its systems, and continuing to push the boundaries of what modern sawing technology can do.
What lingers after two packed days in Brno? A sense of momentum – and the collective drive to keep building. From the smallest offcut to the biggest idea.
Connected through the new Partner Portal
One of the event’s most talked-about developments didn’t involve machinery at all: the new Partner Portal. “Now we can check machine availability ourselves – no need to call every time,” noted Jeff Morris, a long-time UK-based sales partner. What sounds like a small step proves to be a big leap in practice: product reservations, document access, and quote requests – all in one place. Most visitors registered on day one.
